Activities :

Being a CBSE affiliated School a Uniform system of Teaching & Learning, Assessment, Examination and Result is followed as per direction and guidelines of the Board. Teachers regularly attend the Capacity Building Programmes and workshops organised by CBSE and other concern institutions and organisations. The medium of instruction is strictly English. All teachers are trained and conversant in English speaking. CBSE pattern of curriculum is strictly followed.

Cultural

The School organizes various cultural programs throughout the year. All students are encouraged to display their talents be it singing, playing an instrument, dancing, oratory or histrionics on these occasions, thus generating a feeling of mutual acceptance and oneness. The development of the aesthetic senses and cultural awareness is done through Art, Music, Drama, Quiz, Debate, etc. Participation in various inter-school/ inter-district/ inter-state competitions such as debates, elocution contests, quizzing, dramatics etc is encouraged.

Co – Curricular :

It is very important to offer a rich selection of co-curricular activities to students of all ages. It is only through this exposure that a child becomes aware of its special interests and talents. This, in turn, allows a child to receive appreciation and acclaim and to grow in confidence. This confidence then gets reflected in other areas leading to all around growth and progress. Co-curricular activities offered include yoga, music, dance, dramatics, drawing, debates, quizzing, painting, tie & dye, clay modelling and pottery, sculpture, Indian dance and Indian music, hobbies, publication, special interest clubs and societies, as also community services.

Sports & Games

The School has a full-time PET. Every child is expected to take part in the sport and fitness programme. The School provides extensive sports and physical education programme. Facilities include Athletics, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country, Table Tennis etc. An annual sports programme has been drawn up in conjunction with other schools to ensure that seasons for the respective sports coincide. This will incorporate a calendar of dates for inter-house and inter-school competitions in each of the various sports, as well as friendly matches against local teams.

Assessment And Evaluation :

Under the Uniform System of Assessment, Examination for Classes Nursery to VIII comprises of two terms -

Term-I 20 Marks Periodic Assessment (10 Marks for subjective Test, 5 Marks for Subject Enrichment and 5 Marks for Maintaining Notebooks)+ 80 Marks for Half yearly Examination.

Term-II 20 Marks Periodic Assessment (10 Marks for subjective Test, 5 Marks for Subject Enrichment and 5 Marks for Maintaining Notebooks)+ 80 Marks for Annual Examination.

  • Languages- Activities to develop effective speaking and listening skills.
